IMPRINT

The Silken Windsprite Club Switzerland (SWCS) aims to contribute to advancing the FCI recognition of the Silken Windsprite.

Not because other national associations or clubs are incapable of doing so, but rather because many lack the interest or are satisfied with the status quo, believing that “things work perfectly well without FCI recognition.”

Naturally, the following questions are perfectly valid:

• What are the benefits of FCI recognition for me as an owner?

• What are the benefits of FCI recognition for me as a breeder?

• What are the benefits of FCI recognition for a national breed association?

• What are the benefits for the FCI itself?

These are legitimate questions, and the answers are as diverse as the people and breeders who have dedicated themselves to this breed. Anyone who wishes to support this effort is warmly welcome.

Every owner and every breeder has their own perspective on the breed, along with their personal ideas and expectations.

What unites us all, however, is the conviction that the Silken Windsprite is a truly special breed, one that was originally developed with clear breeding objectives and has already come a long way.

This valuable heritage deserves to be preserved, responsibly developed further, and safeguarded for future generations.

FCI recognition can make an important contribution towards achieving this goal.
